Prime Kitchen Restaurant
About This Spot
Stepping into Prime Kitchen Restaurant, located just opposite the post office near Kurnool Railway Station, you quickly sense the rhythm of a place designed for travelers and locals alike — a casual, unpretentious stop where comfort comes largely from familiarity and good, honest food. The pace here tends to reflect the ebb and flow of the trains nearby, making it a quiet refuge whether you’re waiting for a connection or seeking a simple meal in the heart of Kurnool.
The atmosphere carries an everyday warmth, punctuated by the inviting steam of biryanis and curries that seem to bring people together. It’s not a polished or extravagant setting; instead, there’s something quietly reassuring about the hum of conversations and clatter of plates within its walls. Though the space can feel a bit close at times, there’s a sense of shared community — diners swapping a smile over plates of fragrant Chicken Biryani or savoring the comforting crunch of Chicken 65 alongside buttery naans.
The menu at Prime Kitchen feels like a map of regional favorites meeting simple Chinese-inspired rice bowls, giving every visitor a little culinary familiarity and surprise. You might find yourself comforted by the soft flakiness of Poori Chicken Curry or tempted by the mild spice of Paneer Biryani, each dish carrying the kind of warmth that draws you back again, even if the heat level lingers just a little humbly behind expectations.
For those waiting for a train, the restaurant offers more than just food — it becomes a moment to pause, to nourish, and to enjoy the subtle connections that happen in shared spaces. The friendly ambiance and approachable flavors create a modest but meaningful experience, where the food feels less like a spectacle and more like a small, reliable kindness in the day.

I recently visited this hotel near Kurnool Railway Station. The food was good and the ambience had a nice vibe . I personally felt the dishes could have been a bit spicier, but that’s just a taste preference. However, one thing that disappointed me was the lack of proper air circulation. Even though there was an AC, there was only one fan, which didn’t help in spreading airflow across all tables. Because of this, houseflies were coming near the food, which was a bit uncomfortable . With a little improvement in ventilation and hygiene, this place can definitely offer a better experience!
